We often hear that someone has a  fish as a pet. They were established on the Earth for more than 450 million years. Some fish have the ability to make a sound, but some fish cannot do that. Also, they  are sensitive to sound and not every sound that is pleasant for us means that is pleasant for them too. So it is good to keep your fish away from your TV or any other device that produces sound. Many of us wonder how fish can move in the dark. The answer is simple. They have a special organ that helps them move in the dark or in blurred water. Fish can also feel stress and pain, just like the humans.  We choose 4 types of fish that make good pets. Here is our suggestion:

Gold Fish

Many people decide to keep this fish as a pet, maybe because they believe it can make three of your wishes come true. Well, this is only a myth, but there are other reasons why to have this fish as a pet. This fish does not have special requirements. You can buy food for this fish from a pet store. Do not feed it often. Five times a week is enough. You should clean the aquarium twice a week and also add some filters to keep the water clean. Add a few plants so the habitat will be more pleasant for it. These fish are not aggressive and can live with other fish together in the aquarium.

Angel Fish

They are really peaceful and they can get along with the other species of fish in the tank.  Interesting fact about this type of fish is that they only have one partner for the entire life. The males may be a little aggressive, but it only happens when they are ready for mating. They require warmer water and bigger water tank.

Guppies

They are very small, but they act in a friendly way. It would be good to keep a few of those in the aquarium, because they do not want to be alone. If you want to keep this type of fish as a pet, do not add another type of fish in the same aquarium. The guppies are really small and they could be eaten by the other bigger fish.

Molly Fish

They are very lovely, colorful with great skin design. Molly fish is very very active and they really like to hide behind the plants, so make sure you add more plants into the aquarium. They require fresh and warmer water.  You can add a bit of salt, but first consult the vet.
